It’s time to celebrate the revival of a Patchogue staple.
Fadeley’s Deli Pub, located at 422 W. Main Street, is hosting its grand opening celebration on Friday, May 9, starting at 2 p.m. The event will feature live music, a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. with the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, and a free buffet.
Fadeley’s recently relaunched under new ownership: Scottie Campbell, Chris Breheny, Ed Shine, and Patrick Wright — best friends who all grew up in Patchogue. They took over the space last spring and reopened the pub this past fall, following its temporary closure after the pandemic.
“Everything has been really great since taking over,” said Campbell, who owns several restaurants in Patchogue. “It’s the first pub I ever drank at, and to do this with my best friends — it’s just awesome.”
Founded in 1973, Fadeley’s gained popularity for its hearty sandwiches and wide selection of German beers. The deli service was discontinued in the early 2000s as the business shifted toward being a neighborhood bar. Plans are currently in the works to bring a kitchen back to Fadeley’s.
