Ronktoberfest is bringing an afternoon of German-inspired food, beer, music and family fun to Station Yards in Ronkonkoma.
The free Oktoberfest celebration is set for Sunday, Oct. 18, from 2 to 6 p.m. on the Village Green at Station Yards.
Presented in partnership with the Ronkonkoma Chamber of Commerce and Lake Ronkonkoma Civic Organization, Ronktoberfest will feature live music from The Bratwurst Boys, traditional Oktoberfest dancers, interactive games and contests, local vendors and Oktoberfest-style picnic seating.
Several Station Yards businesses are also getting in on the celebration. Tap Room will serve German-style beers and host a stein-holding contest, while Great South Bay Brewery will set up a front-patio beer bar. Cornucopia Natural Foods will offer vegan sausage and pretzels, and Bloom will host a flower pop-up.
Other Station Yards businesses will offer seasonal food, drinks and promotions throughout the afternoon.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Free three-hour parking will be available in the public parking garage at 6 Union Ave.
