Saint Anthony’s High School to host its fall open house Oct. 17

Families considering Saint Anthony’s High School will have a chance to get a closer look at the South Huntington school during its fall open house next month.

Saint Anthony’s will welcome prospective students and their families on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at its campus at 275 Wolf Hill Road.

The open house will give families an opportunity to explore the school, learn more about its academic programs and student life, and get a feel for the Franciscan education Saint Anthony’s has offered on Long Island for more than 90 years.

Guided by the Franciscan Brothers, Saint Anthony’s emphasizes educating students academically, spiritually, morally and socially, with faith incorporated throughout the school experience.

This year, the school is carrying the theme “Faith Over Fear,” encouraging students to embrace challenges, take chances and approach uncertainty with confidence, compassion and trust in their faith.

That philosophy extends beyond the classroom, with students encouraged to explore athletics, performing arts, clubs, leadership opportunities and other extracurricular activities as part of their high school experience.

The Saint Anthony’s High School Open House will be held Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to noon at 275 Wolf Hill Road in South Huntington.
