1759 Middle Country Rd., Centereach
The just-built New Village Plaza in Centereach will be all abuzz come Saturday, April 26.
That’s because, starting at 10 a.m., Bango will be hosting a grand opening party at 1759 Middle Country Rd., complete with music, giveaways and more.
This will mark Bango’s eighth tri-state location and the sixth on Long Island. It’s also the company’s second franchise store, owned and operated by the Gramarossa family of Lake Grove, which also has plans to open two more Bango locations in northern Suffolk County.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of Bango’s 8th operating location in Centereach, led by the incredible Gramarossa family,” Ryan Thorman, Bango’s CEO, previously told Greater Long Island. “Their dedication and passion for Bango’s mission of delivering fresh, flavorful, fast and friendly service is truly inspiring.
“We can’t wait to see them thrive at this new location and continue their journey with two more locations in development.”
What’s in store

The first 50 customers on April 26 will receive a free acai bowl and T-shirt.
There will be giveaways, a DJ and live music and other vendors within the health and wellness space.
For the uninitiated, Bango serves salads, warm grain bowls, poke bowls, acai bowls, flaninis, avocado toasts and smoothies. Bango, which started as Bango Bowls, bills itself as a “better-for-you” food option for entire families.
In 2023, the company, which was founded in Massapequa Park in 2017, was named among the hottest startup fast-casual restaurants in the U.S.
