Suffolk police launched a search this weekend for a 15-year-old St. James boy who went missing on Friday.
Thomas Medlin, a student at the Stony Brook School, left campus about 3:30 p.m. and ran to the Stony Brook train station, police said. Thomas was last seen two hours later at Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
The teen is described as white, 5 feet 4 inches tall, and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with red stripes, dark sweatpants with white stripes, a black backpack, and glasses.
Anyone with information on Thomas’ whereabouts is asked to contact Suffolk Police’s Fourth Squad Detectives at 631.854.8452 or call 911.
