Stony Brook seeks volunteers for its cellulite-reducing clinical trial

Stony Brook Medicine is offering up an opporunity to people who want to get paid to lose cellulite.

A team of Stony Brook doctors (listed below) is launching a three-phase clinical trail to help women and men rid themselves of the unwanted fat deposits that are found in the thighs and buttocks.

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, up to 90 percent of women and 10 percent of men worldwide have cellulite.

The clinical trial — which is being held across all fifty states — seeks 840 Long Island volunteers between 18 or older with cellulite.
Selected particpants will have five total visits, including treatment at 24 Research Way in East Setauket, and will recieve treament through a  multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled “Randomized EvaLuation of CEllulite Reduction by CollAgenaSE Clostridium Histolyticum” (RELEASE).
Each treament will be around 21 days apart, and will be compensated up to $210.
