Suffolk County Police Officer Arnold Reyes helped in yet another special delivery.
Reyes leaped into action on Monday to assist in delivering a baby girl in Sayville, right on High Street, according to SCPD.
Upon arrival, he skillfully clamped the umbilical cord and guided the proud father in cutting it. The Community Ambulance Company swiftly arrived at the scene, ensuring the safe transportation of the mother and baby to a nearby local hospital.
Reyes, a member of of the SCPD MedCAT (Medical Crisis Action Team), has helped deliver three babies this year, including one in February on the LIE near Brentwood.
