The second Suffolk County Marathon is once again coinciding with the county’s big Taste of Long Island Festival.

And the county is looking for vendors to participate in the festival, designed to highlight Long Island’s craft breweries, wineries, artisanal foods and produce.

The festival will take place in downtown Patchogue on Oct. 30.

“This is a great opportunity for wineries, food producers and craft breweries to show off the many options they have made available for the festival-goers to enjoy,” said Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone.

Last year’s Suffolk County Marathon raised $160,000, which was distributed to 19 organizations that provide services for Suffolk County veterans, county officials said.

About 3,500 runners from 25 states and five countries, participated in last year’s race.

The Taste of Long Island event was held at Heckscher State Park in 2015, where the race ended and finished, before moving to Patchogue for this year’s installment.

The festival will also feature live bands and will begin at 9 a.m., shortly before half-marathoners begin to finish.

Race participants will all be offered free tastings.

There will be a $100 vendor fee for a 10’x10’ lease with additional adjacent vendor spaces available for lease. All net proceeds will support veterans’ services.
