The second Sundown Festival of the summer is this week in downtown Patchogue.
The new, family-friendly summer street festival takes place this Thursday, Aug. 5, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. along Main Street.
The event, ran by the Patchogue Young Professionals of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, held its first outing July 22.
For the uninitiated, the day consists of on-street dining, live music, vendors and plenty of activities for the kiddos.
