Swell Taco’s nearly five-year run in Patchogue has come to an end.
The owners announced the news Monday on social media.
“After a very difficult year and a half, we have decided to make the hard decision to close our doors at Swell Taco Patchogue,” an Instagram update reads. (Scroll down for the full post.)
Swell blamed the pandemic and subsequent staff shortages now plaguing businesses across the U.S.
Because of those reasons, the post reads, “we are unable to provide the Swell Taco experience and service you all know and love … We hope to see you at our Babylon location for your weekly taco and good vibes fix.”
Swell taco opened in Patchogue, it’s only other location, in May 2017.
