Toast Coffee + Kitchen (Port Jeff, Patchogue, Bay Shore)

This Long Island hotspot serves up some of the best avocado toast around, with a monthly special that keeps customers coming back for more. But we tried the Burrata Caprese Avocado from the Early Riser menu (pictured, foreground) which was made with sliced, ripe avocados and served with sun-dried tomato pesto, julienned basil and balsamic glaze. There’s also an AVO BLT Toast for bacon lovers!

Toast also has a Long Beach spot coming soon!

Made with fresh watermelon radish, juicy tomatoes, savory sunflower seeds, and peppery arugula, it’s easy to see and taste why this is a neighborhood favorite, with the newest location being in Plainview.

Hatch (Huntington)

Hatch’s popular avocado toast is made from smashed avocados and vine-ripe tomatoes, red onion & arugula over toasted sourdough, topped with a sunny-side-up egg on each piece and served with dressed greens. The sourdough lends a wonderful crunch to the texture.
