Tanger Deer Park adding NY’s first Main Event, expanded Nike store

Tanger Outlets Deer Park is set welcome two major additions in 2026 as part of the shopping center’s ongoing expansion of retail and entertainment offerings.

Main Event, a family entertainment concept combining dining and recreation, will open its first New York location at the outlet center in early 2026.

The 46,189-square-foot venue will feature bowling lanes, multi-level laser tag arenas, arcade games, billiards, gravity ropes courses and a chef-inspired kitchen with a craft beverage bar.

The entertainment destination will be located next to Off 5th Saks Fifth Avenue and Regal Cinemas, marking Main Event‘s debut in the Tanger portfolio.

The Nike store will relocate and expand into a 26,065-square-foot space set to open in spring 2026. The reimagined store will be near Polo Ralph Lauren, Ugg and Karl Lagerfeld.

The expanded Nike location will feature enhanced digital elements, an expanded product assortment across performance and lifestyle categories, and exclusive collections.

Tanger officials said the store design will incorporate immersive zones highlighting Nike’s innovation, sustainability initiatives and design philosophy.

“Main Event will provide guests a dynamic new place to play, dine and connect, strengthening Tanger Deer Park’s appeal as a go-to destination for both shopping and entertainment,” said Lisa Samperisi, marketing manager at Tanger Deer Park.

The additions follow the center’s recent renovation and join such newly opened stores as Birkenstock, Marc Jacobs, Pandora, Canada Weather Gear and Toys”R”Us.

Tanger Deer Park counts more than 100 outlet stores.
