For the foodie in all of us, the Famous Food Festival’s big highlight is the over 60 food trucks that make the trek each fall from New Jersey, Connecticut, Long Island, upstate New York, and beyond.

The festival also has a state fair aspect to it, with activities for kids and adults, such as mini golf, carnival rides, axe throwing, an escape room, face-painting, live music, photos ops, and plenty of shopping options (art, antiques, crafts and more) — right on the festival grounds.

[Our pick is The Mobile Man Cave Ultimate Tailgating Experience.]

There’s also a beer and wine garden for adults and a play area for the kiddies.

“We really care about the Long Island community here, and the vendors we support,” said organizer Dylan Ross. “This event is really all about bringing families together, and given the circumstances that the world is in today, we want to be able to give kids some excitement and bring back that ‘family’ aspect that we think was lost over the past two years.

“We invite you to join us for a delicious and family filled fun weekend!”
