The Annual Fair at Argyle Park returns to Babylon Sept. 18

|

Perhaps one of the largest arts and crafts fairs on Long Island returns this weekend in Babylon Village.

The Annual Fair at Argyle Park happens this Sunday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We have a huge roster of vendors showcasing all types of hand-made goods, a specialty food area, beer and wine, live music and a children’s entertainment area,” said Kristin Costigan of the Babylon Beautification Society, which runs the event.

Costigan told GreaterBabylon that there will be over 300 vendors this year.

The fair’s Specialty Food Market section features baked goods, cheeses, honey, jams, preserves, nuts, and bars.

In addition to the craft and specialty food vendors, there will be a variety of wine and beer and food trucks around the Babylon Village Gazebo.

There will also be DJ-spun music starting at 11:30 a.m.

There’s a rain date set for Sunday, Sept. 25.
