The 62nd Annual Patchogue Village Christmas Parade is happening this Saturday, Nov. 30.
This year’s parade, themed “A Musical Christmas on Main Street,” will bring festive cheer as it marches along Main Street at 6 p.m. The route begins at West Avenue and continues east to Route 112. Street closures will start about an hour before the event kicks off, so plan accordingly.
Santa’s helpers will be collecting letters to Santa along the parade route.
“Remember to include a self-addressed stamped envelope so Santa can answer your letter with one of his own,” reads a flyer from the village’s Patchogue Recreation & Parks Department.
The event will go on rain or shine, so bundle up. The National Weather Service predicts partly cloudy skies with temperatures dropping to around 25 degrees.
