The “30 Days of Eating in Bay Shore” raffle is back and bigger than ever.
Over the summer, the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee held its first contest to raise money for the inaugural Alive by the Bay festival series.
The committee sold over 500 tickets, with one winner earning a leather bound book containing $50 gift cards from a whopping 25 different locations.
Now they are at it again, but this time with six more restaurants participating (the full list appears below), pushing the prize value to over $1,500.
“You can pretty much eat in Bay Shore for 30 days for free,” said Mike McElwee of the restaurant committee, which is part of the Greater Bay Shore Chamber of Commerce.
$20 raffle tickets can be purchased at the locations below, and the drawing will take place on Dec. 17, at an upcoming Bay Shore winter festival.
The money raised will again go back into funding next summer’s Alive by the Bay series.
“It is definitely is a great holiday gift for whoever wins this,” said McElwee.
