One of the South Shore’s first St. Patrick’s Day parades is all ready for Sunday, March 3.
The East Islip St. Patrick’s Day parade, organized by the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 7, begins at 2 p.m. at the East Islip Library. From there, marchers will travel west along Main Street to Irish Lane.
Along the way, there will be pipe bands, high school bands, fire departments, and the Hunt School of Irish Dance.
This year’s grand marshal is Jimmy O’Kane.
