The Fair at Argyle Park has been canceled

|

The plug has been pulled on this year’s Annual Fair at Argyle Park.

The Babylon Beautification Society, which runs the popular craft fair around Argyle Lake, made the announcement on Monday.

“Due to New York State limitations regarding the crowd sizes will not be holding our Annual Fair in 2020,” reads a statement from the BBS.

This year’s event was originally set for Sunday, Sept. 13.

Instead, the craft fair, which drew about 50,000 festivalgoers last year, will go virtual in 2020.

The head of the BBS, Frank Petruzzo, said his organization is working on an online craft vendor directory to connect vendors with the eventgoers.
