Babylon Village Farmers Market is back for its 7th season.
The market runs every Sunday from June 3 until Nov. 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 31 Railroad Avenue (the LIRR Babylon station’s parking lot.)
“We will have many special guests and vendors throughout the course of the season, including local authors,” said Lona Graepel, who runs the event.
Of course, the ultimate goal of the farmers market is to get people to shop local, says Graepel.
“That’s what we’re all about,” she said. “Our vendors and their products are all from Long Island.”
Some notable recurring vendors include Natural Earth Farms, Orwasher’s Bakery, and Horman’s Best Pickles. The farmers market is open rain or shine.
