The Granola Bar, a celebrated restaurant and cafe destination with seven existing shops in Manhattan and Connecticut, is set to swing open the doors to its first-ever Long Island location.
Ownership confirmed to Greater Long Island that The Granola Bar will open up later this month in Woodbury — at 8285 Jericho Turnpike in the Woodbury Common Shopping Center. Known for its offering of elevated comfort food and drinks, the chain was co-founded by Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily.
“We’re beyond excited to open The Granola Bar’s first Long Island location. Growing up in the area, I knew there was a need for the quality food and drink that we’re known for,” Mountain said. “Bringing our fresh, delicious and vibrant breakfast, lunch and brunch menu to the community I love is like coming home, and we’re eager to welcome everyone with open arms and big smiles.”
The Woodbury location will be open for breakfast, brunch and lunch, featuring a full bar. The cafe will serve reimagined classics that harken back to the pillars of its original vision: “Easy, feel-good fare rooted in laughter, friendship, and family.”
The Granola Bar will provide off-site catering for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Additionally, the space will be available for private events at night.
Mountain and Noorily opened their flagship Granola Bar location in Westport, Connecticut, in 2013. Earlier this year, the team opened a location on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
The Woodbury restaurant will be open Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
