The downtown Patchogue merchants are stocked up with tokens and ready for costumed kids to be roaming the sidewalks for the Halloween Happenings Treasure Hunt.
Sponsored by the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce business promotions committee, the hunt runs from 3 p.m to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, better known as Halloween.
Kids who collect 10 tokens from the stores will gain access to the Pumpkin Patch at Patchogue-Medford Library, which is located at 54-60 East Main Street.
The stores are located along Main Street and South Ocean Avenue, according to the chamber.
Look for stores displaying a witch, pumpkin or ghost; then you know they’re cool.
