The Hero Joint in Bay Shore is now serving breakfast

The Hero Joint

Hungrymans. Bacon, egg, and cheeses. Even signature creations, such as The Spicy Presidente, which the owner dreamed up himself.

(That’s three eggs scrambled or fried, bacon, cherry peppers, chipotle mayo, and pepper jack on a hero.)

It’s all now available at The Hero Joint in Bay Shore.

The specialty sandwich shop, which opened to immediate fanfare in October at 182 West Main Street, announced on Monday the introduction of a breakfast menu — and breakfast hours.

“I’ve always wanted to see how we could expand our craft and offer an even wider array of sandwiches, and customers have been asking we open for breakfast,” said the shop’s owner, John Murray, III.

Aside from the breakfast sandwiches, Murray says he’s also sourced “some great, premium local coffee.”

For now, breakfast hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 to 11 a.m. There’s also a Hero Joint location in Patchogue, though breakfast is currently only available in Bay Shore.
