Rain isn’t going to wash away the fun for today’s Babylon Block Party.
The street portion of the festival has been canceled due to the inclement weather, however, event organizers say the party will still go on indoors.
“Your favorite restaurants and merchants will still be open late and running great promotions,” said Kelly Peckholdt of the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, which runs the block party.
The street festival was originally scheduled from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Deer Park Avenue from Park Avenue to Montauk Highway.
The next dates for the Babylon Babylon Party are Aug. 15, Aug. 29, and Sept. 12.
