The Pizzeria is expanding again — this time to one of Long Island’s fastest-developing neighborhoods.
Cliff Weinstein, co-owner of the Long Island-based brand, confirmed to Greater Long Island that the team just signed a lease for a 4,000-square-foot location at The Boulevard in Yaphank — a major residential and mixed-use development just off the Long Island Expressway and William Floyd Parkway.
“We’re so impressed with how this small city was created,” Weinstein said. “It’s a really thoughtfully planned community. The pad sites offer plenty of parking and easy access for residents and travelers alike.”
While there’s no set opening date yet, plans are already underway for a full-service restaurant with indoor and outdoor bars, two outdoor seating areas, and sit-down dining.
The Yaphank location marks yet another expansion for The Pizzeria, which first launched in 2020 at the Smith Haven Mall and recently opened in Smithtown. Other locations include Bay Shore, Lindenhurst, Islip, Bayport and Babylon.
The Boulevard — a 322-acre development — will include 1,000 residential units when fully completed. That includes 400 new townhomes and condos at Country Pointe Meadows. Its developer, Beechwood Homes, is also building Country Pointe Preserve adjacent to that site. Other residences include The Brio and The Reserve apartment complexes, as well as Chelsea Senior Living, an assisted living facility.
The Shoppes at The Boulevard — the retail component — is already home to Walmart, Starbucks, Tropical Smoothie, Bagel Boss, Southpaw Brewing, and a Home2 Suites by Hilton. Northwell Health offices are also set to open soon, with additional retail space currently under construction to welcome even more businesses.
“We’re excited to be part of something this big,” said Weinstein, who launched The Pizzeria with brothers Paul and Dan Saccoccio. “It’s a great fit for our brand.”
