Morning Rose Cafe, the popular breakfast and brunch spot on Bedford Avenue in Bellmore, is closing after 12 years.
The announcement was made today by its owner, Rose, on social media.
The restaurant was scheduled to be closed for vacation through Sept. 11, but in the post, Rose says she’s had some time to reflect over the last few weeks and decided not to reopen.
“It’s been such a pleasure to get to know so many of you, who have become like family over the years,” she wrote in the post. “We appreciate you more than words can say.”
Greater Long Island has reached out to the owners for comment but have not yet heard back.
