The Rascals will celebrate their 60th anniversary when they come “Groovin'” into downtown Patchogue this spring.
Felix Cavaliere and Gene Cornish, founding members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band, are reuniting for a performance at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on April 19, the venue announced.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show are priced from $63 to $103 and go on sale Friday, Jan. 24, at 10 a.m. They will be available online, by phone at 631.207.1313, or in person at the box office at 71 East Main St. in Patchogue.
Cavaliere and Cornish cited their connection between the group’s music and its audience.
“We’re so grateful for the fans, this is for them,” Cavaliere said. Cornish echoed the sentiment, saying, “This gives us another chance to play together and do it for the fans.”
