The Rich Pour brings signature lattes and party vibes to Massapequa Park

|

It’s not your average coffee shop.

At The Rich Pour in Massapequa Park, co-owner Dana Masi wants every customer visit to feel like an experience — not just a caffeine stop.

“It’s a party when you come in here,” says Masi. “The music, the colors, the lighting. We want the shop to have a personality. The vibe is so important to us.”

So are the drinks.

In addition to staples like espresso, cold brew and caramel macchiatos, The Rich Pour is turning heads with its Signature Latte menu.

“We have very creative minds,” Masi said. “We put our own spin on what’s popular. We asked some of our younger employees for their opinions. Then we spent many weeks testing recipes before we opened.”

That creativity shows up in offerings like the Vanilla Charcoal Detox, Pomegranate Matcha Puff, and Coconut Cloud.

For those not into coffee or tea, there are more than a dozen refreshers and dirty sodas — a carbonated drink popular in the South — plus a dedicated kids drink menu.

And if you’re hungry, there are sweet options like the Dubai Chocolate Croffle, along with savory salads, paninis, and vegan-friendly items.

“We’ve only been open a few days, but the reception has been great so far,” Masi said. “Our customers like that we use all-natural syrups and ingredients. We definitely offer something different than your chain store vibe.”

The Rich Pour is located at 4863 Merrick Road. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.

Masi adds that they’ll soon be serving “adult” pours — pending their liquor license approval.
