The second annual Brightwaters Block Party happens this Sunday, Oct. 13, in the village

The Brightwaters Block Party is back for a second year.

This Sunday, Oct. 13, from noon to 5 p.m., downtown’s four corners will be teeming with kids and families enjoying food, drinks, live music, games, arts and crafts and more.

The streets will be closed to traffic and the event is open to all.

The Block Party kicks off an exciting month in the village. The Brightwaters 5K Pumpkin Run happens Saturday, Oct. 26. This year runners are also encouraged to book it in their Halloween costumers.

The race is followed five days later by the village’s popular Halloween Ragamuffin Costume Parade that starts at 6 p.m. at Chase Bank at 169 Orinoco Drive and goes to the Wohseepee Park (map below).
