After just wrapping up its longest-running production to date, Babylon’s new Argyle Theatre is now on its next show, “Peter and The Starcatcher.”
And it’s another great Tony-winning play, says the theatre’s co-owner, Dylan Perlman.
“It’s a fun, twisted backstory to Peter Pan; sort of what Wicked was for The Wizard of Oz,” said Perlman. “It’s beautiful and imaginative.”
The show, which debuted on Thursday, Sept. 13, has fans raving.
“Saw this at a Saturday matinee, such a great experience,” wrote Bryan McMullin in a Facebook post. “Cast was phenomenal, the show was perfectly paced and so, so funny.”
This is an action-packed tale, and a family-fun adventure, says Perlman.
“[There are] pirates, pirate ships, mermaids, fighting, and tropical islands,” he said.
The show is directed by Amanda Connors with a 12-member cast.
