The 2018 Great South Bay Seafest is on for Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Bay Shore Marina.
The Town of the Islip-sponsored event will begin at noon and run through 6 p.m. at the marina on South Clinton Avenue.
The day’s family-fun festivities include food and craft vendors, live music, pony rides, a petting zoo and children’s games and activities. And for the more daring there’s flyboarding.
An educational component will also be featured at the fest — with fly fishing demos and the Long Island Aquarium Shark Truck.
The admission, parking, and shuttle bus to the event are all free.

Great South Bay Run
The Bay Shore Marina will also be used that day as the start and finish for the annual Northwell Health Great South Bay Run. For information on the run, please call (631) 224-5404
