KJ Duff | Riverhead
The true freshman wide receiver, a four-star recruit from St. Anthony’s High School, scored an incredible touchdown for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights off a pass that ricocheted off a defender. The score put Rutgers ahead 14-3 against Akron, and the Scarlet Knights went on to win 49-17.
Casey Reynolds | Cold Spring Harbor
The senior wide receiver made a rare deep catch from Army’s run-heavy offense. Reynolds, who also plays for Army’s lacrosse team, caught a 44-yard touchdown pass against FAU. Army went on to win 24-7.
Sebastian Regis | East Islip
Regis, a two-time first-team All-State selection out of East Islip High School, had an outstanding performance in his second game as a true freshman at Stony Brook. He recorded four tackles, a sack, and returned a fumble 69 yards for a touchdown against Stonehill. The Seawolves went on to secure a 37-10 victory.
