For the first time at Smith Point Beach, Tiki Joe’s has launched a full-service sit-down restaurant.
Beach lovers can find the new Tiki Joe’s Oceanview tented restaurant on the sandy patch of beach behind the stage at the concession stand pavilion.
The restaurant, open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 5-9 p.m., throughout the summer, offers an array of seafood options, as well as some other new tasty offerings and fan favorites from the classic Tiki Joe’s menu.
“We wanted to do a full dine-in restaurant, give people the chance to come sit down, enjoy the music, enjoy the scenery,” Tiki Joe’s manager Dana Peters said. “What better place to do that than Tiki Joe’s in Smith Point.”
The new dine-in menu boasts such appetizers as fried calamari, baked clams and buffalo wings, as well as some new entrees, including penne alla vodka, grilled teriyaki salmon and marinated short ribs. The Tiki Joe’s concession stand still offers the food beachgoers have enjoyed for countless summers — hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and fish and chips.
There’s also plenty of new drink options and a wealth of American and local beers on tap.
