Tom Brady was in East Hampton today. But you might not have seen him if you were passing by.
You probably only saw a large crowd.
That’s because the 6-foot-4 quarterback, a Super Bowl champion seven times over — winning six with the New England Patriots — got absolutely swarmed by New Yorkers.
Brady was in town to promote his latest CardVault by Tom Brady store — described as the premier sports card, trading card and memorabilia retailer.
A line snaked out the door of the shop at 67 Newtown Lane after his big, public appearance. But outside, he signed autographs and tossed footballs and packs of trading cards into the crowd. (Scroll down for more photos.)
Local business leaders also hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new shop.
This is now the fifth CardVault location. The others are in Boston, Foxborough, Mass. East Rutherford, N.J., and the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, according to the company’s website.
