Trapped kitty stuck in dumpster saved in Bay Shore

|

This tiny kitten just received a holiday miracle in Bay Shore.

On Friday, this 8-10-week-old kitty was rescued from a dumpster behind the Peace Church at 800 Candlewood Road.

According to Suffolk County SPCA, the tabby cat was trapped and discovered shivering.

“No food or water was available and the kitten could not get out,” the SPCA wrote on Facebook.

After being alerted by the public, an SPCA officer quickly arrived on scene to rescue the stranded animal.

And the story gets better from there.

A few days later, the kitty was adopted and will be enjoying the holidays with its new family.
