The Suffolk County Police Department is advising drivers of road closures in Bay Shore on Saturday, March 8, for the annual Bay Shore-Brightwaters St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Closures will be in effect from noon to 5 p.m.
During this time, Main Street will be closed from Saxon Avenue to Community Road. The parade begins at 2 p.m., starting at Saxon Avenue and proceeding west on Main Street, ending in front of St. Patrick School.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during this period.
Weather: The National Weather Service forecasts a sunny, breezy day with a high of 45. Winds are expected to range from 9 to 18 mph, with gusts up to 33 mph.
