Suffolk police are searching for the driver of a white SUV that struck two teenagers in a North Bellport hit-and-run Friday night.
D’Ajiah Mitchell, 15, of East Patchogue, was rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries, police said. Kevin Reese, 14, of Bellport, was taken NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk County in Patchogue with minor injuries.
Police said the white SUV was traveling south on Station Road when it struck the two teen pedestrians who were crossing east at the intersection of Patchogue Avenue at 9:38 p.m. The driver continued south toward Montauk Highway without stopping.
