It’s been a long five years since the UFC last held a fight card on Long Island.
That all ends this Saturday, when UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs. Rodriquez happens at the brand-new UBS Arena in Elmont.
There are 12 fights scheduled on this card.
The main event is a featherweight bout between No. 2 ranked Brian Ortega (15-2) vs. No. 3 ranked Yair “El Pantera” Rodriguez (13-3). The winner of this contest will most likely get a title shot as their next fight against current champion Alexander Volkanovski.
