This is a first for Long Island, even a first for the East Coast.
From the proud Hallmark partners who brought you The Paper Store, now comes Uncharted.
The store, measuring nearly 11,000 square feet, will celebrate its grand opening Saturday, March 29, in the Green Cove Plaza at 90 Northern Boulevard in Greenvale.
The fledgling Uncharted brand has planted its flag on Long Island, where the company already operates six Paper Store locations, as it seeks to establish itself as a “premier retail destination,” according to an announcement Tuesday.
“We’re confident Long Island shoppers will take to this sister brand and its impressive lineup of best-selling products,” said Tom Anderson, The Paper Store’s president and chief executive officer.
Along with home decor, beauty and a toy department, customers can expect to find popular clothing brands like Birkenstock and Free People at Uncharted as well. (Scroll down for photos.)
They will also offer in-store ear piercing and regular pop up events, such as one already planned with the Swedish chocolate brand, BonBon.
Six additional Uncharted stores are slated to open in Illinois this year as part of the company’s $60 million investment in new and existing stores over the next four years, the announcement also reads.
Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday in Greenvale. The first 100 shoppers will be rewarded with free mystery gift cards.
