Uncle Giuseppe’s set to open North Babylon location soon

|

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is opening its new store in North Babylon earlier than expected.

Originally planned for a 2021 launch, the Italian market and grocery store is weeks away from opening at Sunset Plaza in a former King Kullen location.

A spokesperson from the company told GreaterBabylon the opening will be sometime mid-December. (Check back later for an exact launch date.)

The new 39,241-square-foot spot in North Babylon will feature a full-service deli, specialty butcher, scratch-made bakery, and its popular pasta and mozzarella making stations.

This will be Uncle G’s eighth New York location. The company was founded in 1998 with its East Meadow store, later expanding to Smithtown, Port Washington, Port Jefferson Station, Massapequa, Melville, Ramsey, N.J. and Yorktown Heights.
