Update: Alive After Five Winter Wonderland is on for Thursday night in Patchogue

|

After “much consideration,” Alive After Five Winter Wonderland is still on for Thursday night in Patchogue, despite some rain in the forecast, chamber officials have announced.

“While there is still a chance of some passing showers, we feel most if not all of the elements can proceed rain or shine,” said David Kennedy, executive director of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the first-ever winter fest.

“If it does rain we have secure indoor locations for some activities too,” he added.

The festival runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on East Main Street. The roadway will be closed to traffic starting at 4 p.m.
