Due to impending bad weather, event organizers have decided to postpone today’s Alive by the Bay festival in Bay Shore.
The Bay Shore Restaurant Committee, which runs the summer series, confirmed the cancellation to GreaterBayShore. “Stay tuned for a rain date,” said Mike McElwee, a Bay Shore restaurant owner, who also helps run the festival.
The next scheduled Alive by the Bay date is still on for Tuesday, Aug. 8.
