Village Idiot Pub Lake Grove adds new brunch hours for 2020

There’s a new place to nosh on eggs and sip on some mimosas on Long Island.

Starting Jan. 7, the new Village Idiot Pub in Lake Grove will offer brunch on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

“There’s no other place in the area that can offer a great breakfast with a great Bloody Mary, mimosa, or slamgria,” said VIP co-owner John Sarno.

For the Sunday revelers, there will be live music from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — as there is at VIP’s Patchogue location.

Village Idiot Pub III, which holds up to 200 people, features catering rooms and 30 flatscreen TVs on the walls. The restaurant/bar, located at 2811 Middle Country Road, opened this summer.
