Babylon Village has a new monthly series coming and it’s all about trying local flavors and online shopping.
This Friday will be the first Perfect Pairings, which will be an online event sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.
This one will be a wine and cheese night.
Here’s how it will work.
For $65, each participant will receive a charcuterie board and wine flights for two people. The wine and cheese, provided by Molto Vino in Babylon Village, will be available for pick up that day.
Then, at home, the registrants will be given access to a Zoom chat hosted by Patty Vorilas of Douglas Elliman Real Estate. She will talk about special deals going on in the village.
From there, shop until you drop.
The chamber intends to run this event throughout the colder months and will be featuring different businesses from the village.
“It’s a great chance for a restaurant to feature their food and for our retail businesses to have some additional exposure, traffic to their sites and social pages, and hopefully a few extra sales,” said Kelly Peckholdt, head of the Babylon chamber.
