The powerful overnight storm that left Long Island drenched has caused serious flooding issues, especially on the South Shore.
This morning, Mascot Dock in Patchogue was completely submerged under water. Watch the video below, shot by Instagram user Ajanosick.

The National Weather Service reported that the island experienced winds of close to 70 mph last night. Nassau received around 1 1/2 to 2 inches of rainfall, while Suffolk saw about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Check back later for full rainfall totals.
