The South Shore Shakedown cocktail competition sold out for its debut on Thursday night at TJ Finley’s Public House in Bay Shore.
Bars and restaurants from Bay Shore, Babylon, and Patchogue faced off in the quest for Best Drink — all while raising $2,000 for Gavin’s Got Heart.
According to the event’s organizer and co-owner of TJ Finley’s, Drew Dvorkin, 100 percent of the night’s proceeds went to the nonprofit, which helps support families with children that have congenital heart defects.
In addition to the fundraising, there were two awards given out on the night.

The first was the people’s choice, where people picked their favorite drink, and then there was the coveted judge’s choice.
Tullulah’s had the judge’s best drink, while The Cortland won the people’s choice award.
