Wayfair will be opening an outlet store in the recently vacated Christmas Tree Shops at Tanger Outlets Deer Park, Tanger and Wayfair representatives have confirmed.
The Wayfair store will be opening this fall.
The company has also posted a job listing looking for a general manager to run what’s described as a “returns Outlet retail store” at the anticipated Deer Park location.
“If you are looking for rapid growth, constant learning and dynamic challenges, Wayfair’s Outlet store might be the future home for your career,” the listing reads. This news comes on the heels of another Wayfair returns outlet opening in a Texas Tanger this summer.
The Boston-based online furniture and home decor giant has already been operating a retail store in Northern Kentucky as part of its initial push into brick-and-mortar.
“Similar to our other outlets, this outlet will sell returns as well as discounted items in good condition,” a Wayfair spokeswoman said.
According to the Tanger Outlets Deer Park job listing, the Wayfair retail store will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
