Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore will swing its doors open for the first time in three months beginning next week.
Westfield South Shore will open on July 15, along with its sister location Westfield Sunrise in Massapequa, a spokesperson confirmed to GreaterBayShore on Friday.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced earlier this week that shopping malls could begin reopening as long as the properties followed social distance protocols and had “air conditioning filters capable of filtering COVID-19.”
The Bay Shore mall’s hours of operation will be Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
Other malls across Long Island already began reopening this week, including Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, Walt Whitman Shops in Huntington Station, and Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.
