What to know about this year’s Patchogue’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade

|

The green will return to downtown Patchogue this month as the village prepares for its annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

The march is scheduled for Sunday, March 22, stepping off at noon, according to event listings.

The procession will begin at the intersection of East Main Street and Route 112 and then head west toward West Main Street, where a viewing stand is typically set up near Havens Avenue, according to organizers.

The 2026 festivities will be led by Grand Marshal Mark Miller.

A Patchogue-Medford Hall of Fame inductee, Miller co-owns and operates Dublin Deck, Harbor Crab Co., both on Patchogue River, and other local businesses.

“This year’s celebration is especially meaningful as we proudly honor Mark Miller, respected local restaurant entrepreneur and longtime supporter of Patchogue, as our 2026 Grand Marshal. Mark’s leadership, community spirit, and dedication to our downtown and riverfront have helped shape the vibrant Patchogue we all know today—making this year’s parade one you won’t want to miss!” reads a statement from the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce.

The parade is traditionally preceded by the “May the Road Rise Up to Meet Ye” two-mile run or walk, which takes place just before the marchers step off and brings runners through the village ahead of the festivities, organizers say. The parade is organized jointly by the Greater Patchogue Foundation’s Cultural Heritage Committee and the Village of Patchogue Department of Parks and Recreation.
