Here’s a list of all the fire departments in the Greater Patchogue coverage area — and when they’ll be sending Santa through the neighborhoods on a firetruck.
BAYPORT
Santa will be going around on Sunday, Dec. 20, from the late morning into the early afternoon.
BLUE POINT
Look for Santa Saturday, Dec. 19, after 2 p.m.
MEDFORD
The Santa rides will run from Dec. 16-18 with a fall-back date of Dec. 19. The rides will get underway around 6 p.m. to 6:30 each night, from each of the district’s firehouses, which will be addressing their primary coverage areas.
PATCHOGUE
The district is divided into four sections, with the Four Corners intersection of Main Street and Ocean Avenue at its center. (map below)
Santa’s rounds typically begin between 6 and 6:30 p.m.
Euclid House Company (northwest section): Monday, Dec. 14 and Tuesday, Dec. 15.
Engine Company (southwest section): Sunday, Dec. 20 and Monday, Dec. 21.
VG’s (southeast section): Thursday, Dec. 17, and Friday, Dec. 18.
H&L (northeast section): Wednesday, Dec. 16.
Rain dates are Dec. 19 & 22
NORTH PATCHOGUE
Saturday, Dec. 12. Santa starts the rounds at 10 a.m.
The department will be sending three engines throughout the district that day with Santas on board.
BROOKHAVEN
Santa will be traveling around the fire district on Saturday, Dec. 12, starting at 9 a.m.
BELLPORT
Santa starts his rounds at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20.
HAGERMAN (E. Patchogue)
Santa will make his way through the entire district all day on Dec. 19.
