With Phase 2 of New York’s COVID-19 reopening plan well underway, many restaurants are taking advantage of the warmer weather to attract customers.
Food establishments sprinkled along Montauk Highway are offering both inside and outdoor arrangements.

Atlantic Seafood Fish Market
117 Montauk Hwy., Center Moriches
One of the most well-known fish markets in the area, Atlantic Seafood has five large outdoor picnic benches where patrons can enjoy an iced drink and crab legs.

Sunday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
Friday-Saturday: 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
Brothers Four Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria
310 Main St., Center Moriches
Even though this pizzeria has minimal outdoor seating, it’s one of the spots along Montauk Highway that stays open the latest on the weekends.

Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Friday-Saturday” 11 a.m.-12 a.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m.-11 p.m.
Greek Bites Grill & Cafe
183 Montauk Hwy., Moriches
Despite the small ‘grab and go’ style of this establishment, they offer 11 outdoor seating areas spread out beneath large bright red umbrellas.

Ice Cream Cottage
1590 Montauk Hwy., Mastic
If you’re looking for an after-dinner treat, make your way over to Mastic. The Ice Cream Cottage offers several deals on its website as well as some outdoor benches to sit on and enjoy a scoop of ice cream as the summer continues to get hotter.

Jimmy’s Diner
535 Montauk Hwy., Mastic
If breakfast and lunch are more your speed, the diner, which has been around for more than 50 years, is open seven days a week, offering four outdoor tables, as well as indoor seating at half capacity.

La Buena Vida

If you’re looking to eat with a beautiful waterfront view, this authentic Spanish restaurant has an enormous outdoor patio overlooking the Forge River.

Friday-Sunday: 11:30 a.m. – 11p.m.
La Volpe Ristorante & Anton Brick Oven Pizzeria

This Italian staple offers a large 10 table outdoor seating area as well as some indoor seating.

Lil Lucharitos Taco Truck
177 Main St. Center Moriches
Lil Lucharitos, an expansion of the Lucharitos taqueria venture that started in Greenport, is on property that will include a restaurant. It has multiple outdoor seating options, including cafe tables on a patio, picnic tables in a field and a communal table.
Mary’s Olde Speonk Inn
190 Montauk Hwy., Remsenburg-Speonk
Though it’s just outside our regular coverage area, we thought it worth mentioning Mary’s Olde Speonk Inn, which offers indoor seating at half capacity as well as a lovely 10-table outdoor patio for patrons and a large private table for bigger parties.

The Moriches Bay Diner & Restaurant

The diner offers indoor seating at half capacity as well as an enormous 14 table outdoor seating arrangement underneath a large white tent.

This historic restaurant offers half capacity indoor seating as well as a six-table outdoor seating area

Shuckers at Hampton Watercraft
50 South Bay Ave., Eastport
Overlooking the Eastport Marina, this food truck serves up a variety of fresh tacos; a Philly cheesesteak and chicken Caesar salad wraps; hot and cold lobster rolls; coconut shrimp; and hot dogs.
